Westfield London has teamed with supermodel Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief to host a pop-up shop at Westfield London. Naomi Campbell will make a visit to Westfield London on Friday 26th February to lend a hand in selling the official Fashion for Relief T-shirt designed by Vivienne Westwood.
The T-shirts, which were unveiled last week at Naomi Campbell’s spectacular Fashion for Relief show on 18 February at Somerset House and worn on the catwalk by a host of celebrities including Dame Shirley Bassey, Beverley Knight, The Saturdays, Ronnie Corbett, Cesc Fabregas, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud.
Funds raised from the sales of the T-shirt, which retails at £40, will go to The White Ribbon Alliance to support the health needs and rights of women and girls around the world, with particular focus on its partners in Haiti, who at this time are helping to rebuild the healthcare system for mothers and babies.
Naomi has personally signed 10 T-Shirts, which will be available for an exclusive period at an exclusive pop-up shop at Westfield London from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th February.
The edgy T-shirt design highlights some of the shocking statistics women and girls in Haiti are faced with such as the 240,000 pregnant and lactating women who will need the help of the White Ribbon Alliance and its affiliated partners at this time.
Naomi Campbell says "I am delighted that Westfield London has partnered with myself and the White Ribbon Alliance to support this years Fashion for Relief in London. I am very grateful to Vivienne Westwood and her team for their dedication to this project whilst they themselves were in the midst of preparing for their own fashion week show. The Fashion for Relief Pop Up Shop at Westfield London has been such a huge success and I’m looking forward to my visit to Westfield tomorrow to personally help out."
Naomi adds: "Purchasing a limited edition Westwood Fashion for Relief T-shirt is a great way for everyone to get involved in raising funds to help mothers and babies in Haiti who are most vulnerable after the recent disaster. In addition, if you are unable to make it to the pop-up store at Westfield London by Sunday 28th February then please log onto http://www.naomicampbell.com to purchase a T-shirt."
Jill McArdle, Head of Marketing at Westfield London said: "It has been really exciting working with Naomi and Fashion for Relief on this project and we are looking forward to continuing to raise funds for Fashion for Relief through our Greatest Fashion Show on Earth event at Westfield London 18 – 20 March."
