Qwizdom announces exclusive agreement with Baltic States distributor
Qwizdom has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with ADAT-TI, one of the fastest growing distributors in the Baltic States education market.
[UKPRwire, Tue Sep 30 2008] As part of its strategy to increase its reach into Europe’s 3.3 million classrooms across 320,000 educational establishments, leading interactive voting systems provider, Qwizdom (www.qwizdom.co.uk), has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with ADAT-TI, one of the fastest growing distributors in the Baltic States education market. Resellers from all over Europe have already signed up, including those from Portugal, Sweden, Hungary, Cyprus, Italy, Holland and Belgium. Qwizdom will work with ADAT-TI and its strong network of resellers to increase its reach into 3,500 schools in the Baltic States. Qwizdom’s voting technology is suitable for all subjects and encourages whole-class participation. By answering questions anonymously as a class, even shy students enjoy joining in.
Qwizdom is offering ADAT-TI 40% margin, training, demonstration kits, marketing support and a technical support line with a dedicated account manager to answers queries. ADAT-TI will provide resellers with product demonstrations and training.
“We can see that the acceptance of classroom voting systems into mainstream education is starting to accelerate and this will be an excellent driver for our partnership with ADAT-TI,” says Gary Morrison, Director of Qwizdom. “The Baltic States market presents major growth opportunities as it starts to embrace new technology, such as interactive whiteboards, as a means to make learning more interactive. Our future plans include moving into additional European markets for which we intend to take on further resellers and distributors.”
As Qwizdom is interoperable with any interactive whiteboard and can also be used independently, resellers have the flexibility to sell it anywhere and can even up-sell to exisiting customers. The ‘plug-and-play’ technology does not require installation so it saves time and resources. Qwizdom’s software seamlessly integrates into Microsoft PowerPoint 2003+; it is now available in ten different languages and can be translated into any other language on request.* Qwizdom’s Q2 RF remote is the only rechargeable solution on the market with costs for a standard set of 32 handsets starting from Ł1199.
Inese Civle, General Manager of ADAT-TI, adds: “Having looked at a range of voting systems, Qwizdom offered the greatest flexibility, allowing us to provide a full solution for schools alongside projectors, screens and interactive whiteboards. We have invested in a dedicated sales team with external focus to ensure that resellers are properly trained in this technology. Resellers should be able to make over 30% margin from these products.”
Keen to engage with resellers and distributors face-to-face, Qwizdom is attending WORLDDIDAC Basel, a major international exhibition for the education and training industry, on 29-31 October 2008. Gary Morrison, Director of Qwizdom, will be on hand to talk about the benefits for resellers adding the system to their portfolio. Visitors to Qwizdom's stand can view a live demonstration of the technology, try it out themselves and ensure any questions they might have are answered.
Resellers and distributors can register their interest by contacting Gary Morrison, Director of Qwizdom, on 02890 485 015 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
*Actionpoint Suite is now available in the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian, Dutch, Swedish, Latvian and Portuguese. Qwizdom can translate it into any other language within four days of request.
