The Carlos Santana Universal Tone Europe Tour 2010 will be kicking off in Ireland’s capital city before heading off across Europe. The tour follows on from the hugely successful series of shows across America which took place earlier in the year.

This latest European tour coincides with the release of a brand new studio album which launches on 21st September, titled: "Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time."

This is Santana’s most recent album since a reissue of the biggest selling album of his career, Supernatural. The reissue included eleven previously unheard tracks as part of a two CD Legacy Edition that marked the tenth anniversary of the original album back in 1999.

People attending the concert can expect to hear songs from both albums including the number one single "Smooth" from the Supernatural release. Santana will also be performing a number of other hits from a career that has lasted for more than four decades.

Fans of the Mexican-American artist staying in Dublin hotels will be heading to the capital’s O2 arena to hear him playing live on 29th September 2010. Tickets for the event start at 60.55 Euros.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head at online booker commented: "This is going to be a special evening and as it’s the only date in Ireland fans will be descending on Dublin from all around the country. People staying in the city are advised to book their hotel earlier to ensure availability."
