On 4th June 2011, Coloursfest will be kicking off the summer with the brightest stars in house, dance and trance music. This year marks the event’s 10th anniversary and to celebrate such an important milestone the organisers are bringing in the heavyweights from global club lands. Headline acts include Eddie Halliwell, Chuckie, Marcel Woods, Martin Solveig, Ferry Corsten and BBC Radio One residents Judge Jules and Pete Tong.

As part of the occasion many well known artists will be making their debut at the event including Claudia Cazacu and the hotly anticipated talent of Dash Berlin who is sure to pack the dance floor when he takes his position by the decks.

The event starts from 18:00 going through the night until 04:00 and plays out at the Braehead Arena and Waterfront. Six arenas are going to be featuring dance of all styles from mainstream to house and hardcore. Clubbers can attend a special session with the judge as Judge Jules hosts the outdoor arena and he’ll be joined by an impressive mix of guest artists.

Over 10,000 people are expected to fill the arenas and this is going to cause nearby Glasgow hotels to be overrun with clubbers.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head at commented: "With the event finishing into the early morning clubbers will be looking for the closest place to crash after a full night of partying. Hotels will be getting quickly booked out so advanced reservations will be needed."
