Legacy Wrestling is thrilled to be arriving at the historic Leamington Assembly on 2nd May 2015 for their inaugural show!

Beginning in May, The Assembly in Spencer Street, Leamington Spa, will be hosting monthly wrestling shows featuring the absolute best athletes from around the UK and the rest of the world. On the first Saturday of every month, The Assembly will be transformed into a spectacular wrestling arena featuring pyrotechnics, music and lighting which would normally be reserved for the kind of incredible rock concerts which The Assembly features on a regular basis.

Legacy Wrestling is being spearheaded by a trio of businessmen who have over fifty years combined experience in the wrestling world.

"The ethos behind Legacy Wrestling is very important to us." Director of Talent, Mike Connell explains "We have extremely high expectations on how the shows look and feel. The fans will be coming away from The Assembly every month knowing they’ve seen a spectacular show, with the most breathtaking wrestlers on the planet. We know that Legacy Wrestling will become the kind of event that everyone in Leamington and beyond will be talking about very quickly, and will be as much a part of regular family outings as the cinema or football matches!"

"We’re launching with a bang." Master of Ceremonies ‘Mr Legacy’ continues "Plans in the future are even more exciting though. We have lots of surprises coming up for the fans, and we can barely wait to get things going. Legacy Wrestling is going to be creating a buzz all around Warwickshire, and we couldn’t be prouder to be basing the events here in our home county."

Since British Wrestling was taken off TV in 1988, the American companies very quickly took over the airwaves. The weekly TV shows of World Wrestling Entertainment now command some of the highest viewing figures of any programme worldwide, and superstars such as John Cena and Randy Orton are household names. The British Wrestling stars of the golden era are now all but forgotten by today’s generation of wrestling fans, and yet British Wrestling is still held in very high regard by WWE; featuring British Superstars such as Paige and Wade Barrett, and employing wrestling legend Robbie Brookside to train the next generation of superstars in their Florida training facility.

Legacy Wrestling features a wide variety of wrestling talent from all over the globe, including wrestlers trained by WWE trainer "Wildcat" Robbie Brookside. Masked superstars such as White Tiger and Arcade bring a daredevil style to the shows, while technical wizards such as Jack Starz and JD Knight bring intensity and drama.

"Legacy Wrestling will be a jaw dropping event for sure." Senior Official, Chris Boyle concludes "I’m here to ensure that everything goes smoothly and to deal with any rule breaking. We’ve got our five golden rules here at Legacy to make certain that any villainous actions by gentlemen such as Jimmy Havoc or Kay Jutler do not go unpunished."

Legacy Wrestling arrives at The Assembly, Spencer Street in Leamington Spa on 2nd May and each month afterwards on the first Saturday of the month. Doors open at 6:00pm and first bout is 6:30pm.

Tickets are £12 for adults, £8 for OAP, students and under 16, and a family ticket (2 adults and 2 concessions) is only £30. Tickets are available now from The Assembly box office on Spencer Street from 10-4 weekdays and 11-4 Saturdays, or by calling 0871 2200260.
