Models Direct: An Education in Modelling for Daniel, Lina and Nick

Modelling agency Models Direct recently provided models to take part in three photographic assignments to provide images for an educational textbook. Find out what the models, Daniel, Lina and Nick, had to say about their experiences of modelling.

Hilary Fletcher turned to Models Direct looking for models for three different scenarios to feature in the book. For the first, a young man with a playing age of 17-18 was needed to pose in his room looking at a calendar. It was 18-year-old Dan who was selected for the role. It was the first time modelling for Dan and he was pleased with how the assignment went.

"Being a model for the first time felt great and was really exciting," Dan explained to the modelling agency after the assignment. "The place where the photoshoot was done was really nice and everyone made me feel welcome and helped with the shoot. All in all it was a really good experience and I would be happy to work with the clients again."

For the second assignment it was the turn of one of Models Direct’s more mature models, 43-year-old Lina. She was posing for a scene in which a mother and father are fussing over their son, driving him to school on the day of an important exam. Lina also enjoyed her first assignment with the agency.

"The assignment was to play the part of a mum about to drive her son to school," Lina explains. "I was fussy and looking tense along with my ‘husband’. The shoot took less than thirty minutes thanks to the professional photographer and the crew there. It was an enjoyable day meeting people and being part of a photographic shoot."

Hilary needed another young man in his late teens for the final assignment, this time posing as if he was talking to his girlfriend on the phone. It was 19-year-old Nick who was chosen for the role.

"When I arrived I felt very welcome straight away and completely comfortable with the people there and the surroundings," Nick informed Models Direct in his feedback. "The clients were very professional, also completely down to earth and all seemed like very lovely people. The best thing about the assignment for me was the fact that I was doing something I really loved and enjoyed doing!

"The photographer seemed thoroughly organised and experienced, he knew exactly what he was doing and so together we managed to get the job done very efficiently. I truly had a lovely time so thank you so much for providing me with the great opportunity," Nick finishes by saying.

Obviously it’s important to Models Direct that models have an enjoyable time on their assignments but it’s also crucial that the clients get the results they need. Regarding these assignments Hilary Fletcher made some great comments saying that the service couldn’t be better and that she would consider using Models Direct again in the future. "The assignment went really well and models were on time, polite and had a good selection of clothing for us to choose from." It seems like these three assignments couldn’t have gone any better!
