Models Direct's Summer Assignments

Models Direct like to keep models and followers up to date on the work they have been doing so here are reviews from just three of the assignments that have taken place during the summer.

Firstly 20-year-old Yasmin (who also featured on a Nintendo DS game in 2009 - http://www.newsalbum.com/Read/402157-Models-Direct-when-Nintendo-needed-a-princess-they-came-to-us/) modelled in a lifestyle shoot for photographer Alex Hibbert’s portfolio.

"I really enjoyed modelling for the photographer," Yasmin reported back to Models Direct. "It’s an amazing feeling being able to do what I love. I was asked to do various poses and walking on a street laughing and being a natural, care free person. I am overjoyed I got picked and found it a really enjoyable experience."

Moving on, Models Direct also completed another assignment with repeat client Christine Harding for Pampers. As with previous assignments, the modelling agency sent a number of baby models out on a casting for the prestigious baby brand and it was one-year-old Max who was selected. He was photographed, along with other baby models from different agencies, awake and asleep to provide images for advertising. Models Direct asked Max’s mum Katy how the two day assignment went.

"Max loved meeting all the new people and everyone was very sweet to him," Katy informed Models Direct. "The photographer, Jo, was particularly nice and made sure the babies were happy and comfortable at all times. There was no pressure and everyone was very professional. A great experience!"

Finally, at the beginning of the month, online clothing shop M&M Direct turned to Models Direct looking for a male, mixed race or black model aged nine to fourteen to take part in a photo shoot. As the assignment was for a clothing company, the model needed to be exactly 152 cm tall. Luckily model Khade fitted the brief perfectly! Khade and his mum Natalie travelled to Herefordshire for the photographic assignment.

"From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very comfortable and the company’s hospitality was fantastic," Katy told Models Direct. "The photographer and staff enabled Khade to relax quickly, he had lots of clothes changes during the shoot and thoroughly enjoyed every minute."

Louise, the photography coordinator on the assignment, was delighted with Khade as she told the Models Direct booking coordinator who put him forward. "Khade was AMAZING!," Louise informed the agency. "Cannot believe he’s never done anything like this before. He really is a natural and a lovely kid. He took direction really well and the clothes look great on him. I’m so happy with the shots. Thank you, thank you, thank you."
