Chris O’Connell, the author of Blue Shift: A Starfall Chronicle is working to release an independent animated film based on his book. He has launched a crowdfunding campaign to offset some of the costs associated with the production of the film.
[UKPRwire, Mon Apr 06 2015] The motion picture visual effects artist Chris O’Connell is pleased to announce that he is currently developing an independent animated film based on his book ‘Blue Shift.’
Blue Shift is the first installment of Chris O’Connell’s Starfall Chronicles. It is a science fiction adventure novella that is full of aliens, robots, and other interesting figures. The book follows three main characters as they head out on a mission to recapture several fugitive aliens who have escaped to Earth. The story behind Blue Shift is both creative and entertaining. The book is age appropriate for both teenagers and adults.
As the sole author behind Blue Shift, Chris O’Connell is also working as the primary producer, animator, and director on the Blue Shift independent animated film. In order to help offset some of the costs associated with creating the film, O’Connell has launched an Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign. The Blue Shift campaign officially launched on March 6 2015. Chris is aiming to meet the campaign goal of $10,000 by April 11 2015.
