DirectRooms.com is pleased to announce that this year the festival will take place on 23rd May from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Sumac Centre. Nottingham hotels are situated within walking distance of this popular venue.
A big emphasis is placed on things that are wholesome and healthy. This includes both green initiatives to improve and preserve the health of the planet, along with products and services to improve the well-being of humans.
The festival welcomes the entire family. There is plenty to explore, learn about and try out. The latest in environmentally-friendly products will be on display. Meanwhile the setting, Arboretum Park, has its own natural, green wonders to explore and take in.
The festival promises to be bigger than ever this year. More than 100 products are scheduled to be on display. In addition, there will be information and food stalls, kid’s rides, interactive workshops, alternative therapies and technologies, live performances, and veggies catering all onsite. On top of this, there are the entertainments already available at the park.
At 7:00 pm the festival switches gears and special events start up. Moonbuggy and Sweetpotato Soundsystem will perform live from 7:00 pm.
Bands and entertainment scheduled to perform include Kambasemba, Captain Cor Blimey & The Governors and The Breadchasers. In addition, groups like Nottm Vegetarians & Vegans, Defy ID, Nottm Animal Rights, Eastside Climate Action and No Borders Nottingham will be onsite.
