Cardiff International Food and Drink Festival features the speciality foods made from different regions and attendees can sample an impressive selection of everything from local cheese and preservatives to imported wines and exotic delicacies. The festival is designed to offer foodies a tantalising spread of dishes, all cooked and made using the freshest ingredients to ensure that nobody leaves hungry.

Live demonstrations will feature throughout the event where chefs will be giving advice and information on certain recipes incorporating the produce on offer. There will be two food markets where people can buy produce or the food piazza will be offering diners freshly cooked meals in the Cardiff summer sunshine. People looking for a drink to go with their meal might also like to try the champagne bar which is located by the water and where people can enjoy a series of live music acts.

The festival is being held from 8th to 10th July 2011 at the Roald Dahl Plass in Cardiff Bay and due to the popularity of the event Cardiff hotels in the area are due to be fully booked.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head at commented: "Finding availability at hotels is going to be difficult as so many people are expected to attend. Online reservations however can avoid any difficulties although visitors are being asked to make them quickly."
