More flooding expected according to National Homebuyers
The UK is increasingly being affected by severe weather and flooding, potentially leading to many homeowners seeking a fast property sale.
[UKPRwire, Thu Mar 20 2008] The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for Monday (March 10th), with much of the UK set to be affected.
Southern and western parts of the UK are set to be hit by winds as strong as 80 mph and there is a real risk of flooding.
"The arrival of this exceptionally deep area of low pressure is expected to coincide with spring tides on Monday bringing the risk of flooding to western coasts stretching from southern England to northern Scotland," said Brian Golding, head of forecasting at the Met Office.
Some parts of the UK were hit by flooding towards the end of 2007, while major damage was caused by severe flooding in the summer.
With global warming apparently affecting many parts of the UK with increasingly frequent severe weather, homeowners may consider a fast property sale.
Fast property sale expert Julian King adds, "Homeowners in need of a quick sale without the burden of providing a Hips Pack should consider a sale away from using the traditional open market route.
"If a property is marketed, a Hips Pack needs to be in place, costing the homeowner up to £500. As a private commercial buyer, National Homebuyers does not require a Hips Pack to be in place in order for us to purchase".
