Between 24th and 26th March, Woodworking Scotland 2011 will feature manufacturers and suppliers of a comprehensive mix of tools for the trade. Exhibitors are set to include companies that produce machinery for use in timber sawing, furniture making and timber treatment. Specialist tools for skilled work in areas such as carving, fine furniture and instrument design are also going to be included to ensure the show offers something for all members of the wood profession.

Well known brands being featured are Genesis and Kundig, with a demonstration of the Genesis panel saw set to be one of the highlights of the show. Kundig representatives are also going to be showing the reliability of their sanders and showcasing the types of finishes that can be achieved for joinery and veneer work.

The expo is set to bring together one of the collections of woodwork machines in Scotland with everything from panel saws, planers and mortisers on display as well as practical machinery such as dust extractors and pocket drills.

As visitors attend to see this extensive collection, Edinburgh hotels near the Royal Highland Centre are going to be in the high demand.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head at commented: "Booking well in advance is recommended for anyone thinking of heading to the exhibition as places will soon become limited."
