118 Group Holdings plc prepares to sell mobiles to Ireland
Daniel Corby, founder and CEO of 118 Group Holdings plc is preparing to sell mobile phones to Ireland through 118mobile brand which launches on 6th November.
[UKPRwire, Mon Oct 09 2006] Daniel Corby, founder and CEO of 118 Group Holdings plc is preparing to launch 118mobile, a business to business mobile service to both the UK and now Irish business customers
Speaking about the launch due on 6th November, Daniel Corby said “It makes complete sense that we target the Irish business market too. We have the infrastructure in place for UK sales connecting for Vodafone, o2, 3, T Mobile, Orange and Virgin Mobile, so the common sense approach is to target Ireland too. We are in the final stages of agreeing network distribution deals in Ireland as we speak. Our move into mobile comes very soon, with a planned go-live date of 6th November, where we’ll start targeting business 2 business mobile contracts to the customer base of 118trades, our sister business. 118mobile will launch con-currently with Tasty Mobile, our consumer facing brand, which will work through web presence and national media promotions as we plan to rival dial-a-phone with strong consumer offers and free handsets”
